Author's Notes: The Kinsey Scale: the results of a study conducted by Dr. Alfred Kinsey in the late 40's and early 50's. The concept is that human sexuality can be attributed to a seven point scale, ranging from 0 to 6; 0 being exclusively heterosexual and 6 being exclusively homosexual. The conclusion made is that the majority of humans fall somewhere in the middle of the scale, and fluctuate along it over the course of their lifetimes.
